5.1.3 DOOR ADJUSTMENT

In order for your fireplace to burn at its best efficiency, the door must provide a perfect seal with

the firebox. Therefore, the gasket should be inspected periodically to check for a good seal. The

gasket seal may be improved with a simple latch mechanism adjustment. To adjust:

1. Remove the split pin by pulling and

turning it using pliers.

2. Turn the handle counter clock wise

one turn to increase pressure. To

reduce the pressure, when installing a

new gasket for example, turn clock

wise.

3. Re-install the split pin with a small

hammer.
